The Pioneer Event Corporation consists of two venues, which are both located in the heart of downtown Calgary on historical Stephen Avenue. The Pioneer Event Corporation opened its first location in September 2018, The Pioneer, followed by its second location, The Garret, located a few doors down.
 
The Pioneer has been intentionally designed with a stripped-down, modern-meets-industrial aesthetic to thoughtfully reveal and highlight the bones of this historical space. The Pioneer is a blank slate with the beauty to stand on its own, or to serve as your canvas. With features like exposed brick and original sand-stone, concrete flooring, a picturesque floating iron stairwell, and a retractable glass and iron wall, they offer one of the most versatile and culturally-rich event spaces.
 
The Garret is a loft style venue, located on the second floor above what used to be Divino Wine and Cheese Bistro. The Garret features exposed brick, hardwood flooring, and an open concept kitchen, which make it the perfect venue for an intimate dinner, wine tasting, private meeting room and everything in between.

What started out as two friends who met in a home brew club brewing beer in their basement has since become Canada's top brewery. For the second year in a row, in 2021 the Establishment Brewing Company has been awarded the Canadian Brewery of the year. Located in Calgary's Manchester Brewing District in the southeast, Establishment not only offers delicious beer but also boasts a beautifully designed taproom space that is perfect for your next event. From corporate events to birthday parties, this space is available to make your own for your next event.
In 2010, City & Country Winery started as a fantasy. Chris and his partner Karen wanted to be able to have a winery, but every year climate change brought unexpected risks in the vineyard. Out of this, they dreamt up their Urban Winery Concept.
In 2017, they bottled their first vintage under this label at a friend’s winery in Penticton. Early in 2020, they opened the first Urban Winery & tasting bar in Calgary. The space is clean, open and modern and perfect for gathering in small, private groups.
