Gather Catering & Events, led by esteemed local chefs Camilla Sherret and Newell Orfei, is Calgary’s trusted full-service catering company.
As a founding member of Green Economy Calgary and recipient of a Green Economy Award for waste reduction, we specialize in from-scratch, locally sourced menus that inspire connection while caring for the planet.
Every gathering is crafted with artistry, sustainability, and flavour — creating experiences as meaningful as they are memorable.
We hold a certificate from the European Institute of Innovation and Sustainability (EIIS). This certificate has helped us both achieve and innovate in all aspects of our sustainability journey, including food, supply chain and company culture. We've learned to approach sustainability wholistically in everything we do!

Newell is a Chef and entrepreneur whose experience and ambition have led him to be a leader in Calgary's food and service industry. As a self-trained chef who has worked in all aspects of the industry Newell aligns a locally sourced sustainable mindset with a global approach to his innovative offerings. Having studied with the European Institute for Innovation and Sustainability, Newell uses honesty, ambition and an innovative approach to be a sustainable leader within his industry and beyond
